Dear Freedom’s Light Supporters:

This is the last call for donations. For those who have not donated yet, please consider doing so today!

During my race, I will have my phone with me in case I get jammed up with something unexpected. One other benefit is that I will also have email. So, if you happen to donate this morning or send a quick reply to this message, I will see it come in. I can tell you that hearing from you one way or another would be a HUGE morale boost for me.

Before I go, I want to leave you with this clip. It’s a memorable moment of great American pride. When watching this live, I remember this as the first glimmer of hope after a few days of horrible tragedy.  Yes, America can be brought to her knees momentarily but our collective will as free people can never be broken.

I’ll send a quick note letting you know how I made out in a few hours. For those reading this still in uniform fighting the “current fight” here and overseas, I will be thinking about you a lot during the course of the day.

Let’s roll… Climb to Glory!

God Bless…

USO's Operation Care Package (www.uso.org)

Hundreds of thousands of military personnel are serving in far-off places defending the liberties we hold so dear - away from their families, friends, and the comforts of home.  In 2003, the USO discovered the changing needs of those thousands of deploying troops.  Understanding the impact that the little things can have and difference they can make, the USO launched Operation USO Care Package providing comforts of home in the form of a care package.  For as little as $25.00 you can send a care package letting a service member know that you care.
