Dear Freedom’s Light Supporters:

As the 10th Anniversary of September 11th approaches, please consider making a donation to any of our 5 programs below. Help them remain a pillar of strength to severely injured military, 9/11 victims, and their families.

For those interested, I’ve attached two documents describing this weekend’s ToughKids and Toughman race events. I think you will find it entertaining to look at. As with most people, the 9/11 Anniversary is weighing heavily on my mind and this is my way to cope: Getting out there, test that “fire in the belly,” and make something positive happen for others.

Let me know that you are with my in spirit by making a donation today! Donation minimums are generally $25 online. Many companies also offer 100% matching gift programs. Let me know if I can assist in doubling your generosity.

Last call for donations will be early on the morning of September 11th just before my race. Again thank you for your consideration and support. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

God Bless…

USO's Operation Care Package (www.uso.org)

Hundreds of thousands of military personnel are serving in far-off places defending the liberties we hold so dear - away from their families, friends, and the comforts of home.  In 2003, the USO discovered the changing needs of those thousands of deploying troops.  Understanding the impact that the little things can have and difference they can make, the USO launched Operation USO Care Package providing comforts of home in the form of a care package.  For as little as $25.00 you can send a care package letting a service member know that you care.
